DYWIDAG-Systems International acquires contec Bausysteme GmbH, Germany

DYWIDAG-Systems International GmbH (DSI) acquired 100% of the shares of the German contec Bausysteme GmbH with effect from January 1, 2007. For more than 25 years, contec has specialized on the production and distribution of formwork and sealing systems.

 

Contec, which is headquartered in Porta Westfalica and has production facilities located in Porta Westfalica and Köthen, Germany, has 70 employees. Due to its innovative R&D activities, contec has become a leading specialist supplier of formwork and sealing systems on the domestic market.

 

Many products and systems are protected by patents. contec's significant power lies in system solutions for the construction industry that are tailored to customers' specific needs and hence can be assembled in a quick, flexible and simple manner.

 

Another important factor of success is contec's high flexibility in production at both its facilities located in Germany. The continuous monitoring of work and manufacturing sequences and the optimization of production processes ensure cost-efficient production at a high level of quality, constituting an essential competitive advantage.
